Our Origin Story
HaloMap originated in 2024 as a direct response to a persistent challenge our co-founders witnessed and experienced repeatedly throughout their careers: organisations struggling to effectively model, visualise, maintain, and improve their business processes.
After years of watching businesses invest significant resources in process management exercises that often resulted in static documentation locked in departmental silos, our team recognised the need for a more dynamic, inclusive, and effective approach to Business Process Management (BPM).
The Problem We Solve
The majority of small to medium sized organisations are managing business process related documents in document libraries like SharePoint, Google Drive, etc. This leads to inefficiency and business silos through disconnected documentation, a lack of collaboration features, and provides no visibility of an organisations people, processes and systems in one place.
Athough there are BPM platforms on the market they are complex, expensive, highly technical and therefore inaccessible to many organisations.
HaloMap was created to change this.
Our Journey
July 2024
The Initial Concept
Our co-founders identified the gap in the BPM market and began developing the HaloMap Proof of Concept.
November 2024
Prototype Development
First prototype of HaloMap platform was created to test core functionality.
January 2025
Joined ThincLab
We joined the University of Adelaide's start up incubator program, giving us a space to grow and mentorship.
April 2025
Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
MVP built out and looking to partner with select organisations to refine features and validate the implementation approach.
May 2025
Beta Testing
Initial beta testing to commence with pilot organisations. Contact us if you are interested in being part of our pilot.
